Formerly used in WWII to house 'Flying Fortress' bombers, this intimate airfield is now an ideal place to experience the joys of helicopter flying. Take to the skies in a Robinson R22 and soak in stunning panoramic views whilst a seasoned helicopter pilot takes the craft for a spin through the air. During the flight, take over the reins to experience the nimble Robinson's amazing manoeuvrability first-hand. For those who wish to pursue flying further, this flight time counts towards a Private Pilot's Licence.

Weather: Helicopter flying is weather dependent, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud cover. It is essential to call the venue for a weather check the day before the experience. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for up to one hour and 20 minutes, including a briefing and an engines-on to engines-off flight time of 60 minutes. Numbers On Day: Briefings may be shared, however, all flight time is held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified instructor. Spectators: Up to two spectators are welcome to watch take off and landing. A pair of binoculars or a camera will come in handy. Dress Code: Please bear in mind that the cockpit can get quite warm. Bring sunblock and a hat in summer. Sunglasses are recommended all year round. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age 16. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is required to sign a consent form. There is no maximum age but participants must be mobile enough to board the craft. Maximum height 6'4'', maximum weight 17 stone. Other Info: Flying time can count towards a Private Pilot's Licence. To qualify for a PPL, a minimum of 45 hours dual-control flying is required, of which at least ten hours must be solo flying.

You will be driven for three laps of this famous 1.3 mile British touring car circuit in a Formula 1 style car, sitting behind your professional driving instructor who will show you the real racing lines, cornering and acceleration required to become a professional motor racing driver. You'll receive a special certificate to take home to celebrate surviving your the famous Scottish circuit's passenger ride.

Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for approximately 30 minutes. Each lap is 1.3 miles in length. Numbers On Day: It'll just be you and the driver in the car. There might be other vehicles on the track at the same time - if you are lucky your driver will show you some awesome overtaking. Spectators: Spectators are welcome, get them to bring a camera. There are basic cafe facilities on site. Please note that pets are not permitted at the circuit. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved top and trainers or flat-soled shoes. A helmet will be provided. Bring wet weather gear if it's raining. Guidelines: From Edinburgh: take the M90 across the Forth Road Bridge towards Dunfermline then join the B914 at junction 4 (signed Kelty) then go onto the A823 - Knockhill is on the right. Alternatively from Glasgow: follow the A977 to Powmill and take the turn off to join the A823 as noted above. Restrictions: Minimum age is 10. Minimum height is 5'1'', maximum is 6'2''.
