Availability: Weekends and weekdays at least once a month throughout the year. Book at least six to eight weeks in advance for popular weekend dates. The circuit closes between mid December and mid January for the winter shutdown. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. The weather on the day will determine your total driving time. Duration: Spend up to three hours onsite. Total driving time will be not less than 25 minutes. Please arrive 30-40 minutes prior to the start time to attend the essential safety briefing. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis with your instructor. The car is shared with two other drivers and briefings will also be shared. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and can bring a camera to record your experience. Please note that pets are not permitted at any circuits. Dress Code: Wear long trousers, a long-sleeved top and flat shoes which are comfortable for driving. Wrap up warm in winter. Bring driving gloves if you have them. Helmets will be provided. Guidelines: Silverstone lies on the A43 between Brackley and Towcester and is accessible from junction 15a of the M1, junction 10 (South) or 11 (North) of the M40. Follow the signs for Silverstone Circuit and drive through the main entrance at West 5 to the security gates. Security will then direct you to Drive Silverstone. Restrictions: Min height 5'2'', maxi 6'7''. Max weight is 18 stone and max age 70. You must have held a manual driving licence for at least one year and you MUST bring it on the day; photocopies or verbal confirmation from the DVLA are not an acceptable alternative.
