Take your pick from these exhilarating activities: Half Day Military Vehicle Driving: The engine is roaring, there's mud everywhere. You are driving a massive piece of military hardware and having the time of your life. After registration you will be transported to the driving area by military vehicle. There will be pre instruction and safety briefing on military vehicle driving before the action begins. You will drive a 432 armoured personnel carrier (tracked), Abbot SPG (tracked), Ferret armoured scout car, Bedford MJ 4x4 truck or 4x4 Land Rover. You will usually spend approximately 10 minutes in each vehicle driving over rough terrain. Rallying: You'll start your day with an introductory briefing from your instructor and then it's time to get behind the wheel for some practice sessions - you'll learn techniques such as hand brake turns and controlled opposite lock slides. Many of our courses have loose surface stages - which means much more sliding, and much more fun! Introduction to Racing Car Driving: The programme typically involves a welcome on arrival, followed by a briefing. Then it’s time to take to the wheel for laps in a performance saloon, where your instructor will demonstrate circuit driving techniques such as taking the correct line on a corner. Next you take the wheel yourself to practise what you have been taught. Then the real action begins: you take a single seater racing car such as a Formula First, Formula Renault or Formula Ford around the racing circuit. With potential acceleration of 0-60 in less than 6 seconds, these cars are perfectly placed to introduce you to the thrills of racing.
