For any young daredevil, this junior indoor body flying experience for two is perfect. Experience the feeling of weightlessness as you enter the wind tunnel with winds reaching up to 120 mph. Both receive a comprehensive body flying briefing from a fully qualified instructor before being kitted out in a specialist flight suit in preparation for the ride. The instructor will support you as you are lifted into the air flow for two 60 second sessions of body flying (to put this into perspective, a 10,000 foot skydive freefall would last around 30 seconds). To conclude, receive a DVD of the body flying session as a special souvenir.

Availability: Weekdays from 3pm until 5.30pm during term time and school summer holidays. Not available during bank holidays, Easter, Christmas or half term holidays. Weather: The tunnel is indoors and isn't affected by the weather. Duration: Expect to be onsite for around one and a half hours, including 20 min safety briefing, kit issue (15 mins), two 60 second body flying sessions (each) and full debrief. The time given is your report time, please check in no more than five minutes before. Numbers On Day: Your training may be shared in a group of up to 12. Your flights are held on a one-to-one basis with just you and your fully-qualified instructor in the wind tunnel - you won't jump together, but you can watch each other's flights from the gallery. Spectators: Facilities are excellent and make for a good family outing. Spectators can watch the action from the free viewing gallery. Dress Code: No jewellery or collared shirts. Please wear tight-fitting lace-up trainers (not boots). If you don't wear suitable footwear you'll be required to hire and wear trainers. Jumpsuits and other equipment provided. Lockers 1 pound. Guidelines: Exit at junction 14 of M1 and take A509 towards Central Milton Keynes. At first roundabout take second exit H6 Childs Way. Stay on road over next five roundabouts (Xscape building is now on your right). At sixth roundabout (South Secklow roundabout) turn right. At first set of traffic lights turn right onto Avebury Boulevard, Airkix and Xscape is now on your right with pay and display parking for over a thousand cars (cost approx 80p per hour). Restrictions: Min age 4. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Max weight 18st. Anyone who's reasonably fit, can fly. If you're pregnant, have heart, back or neck problems or have ever dislocated a shoulder you can't fly. Other Info: It is vital to arrive no later than the allocated time printed on your booking letter. The actual flights occur up to one hour after the allocated booked time to allow for an essential safety briefing before stepping into the tunnel.
