Driving the Suzuki Hypercat, with its supercharged engine and performance racing design, is one of the most extreme on-water experiences going - high speeds, incredible acceleration and a hull designed to 'fly' between the wave tops. You'll start with a safety briefing and an introduction to the boat, then it's straight onto the water where your driver will open up the throttle and you'll fly across the waves. As well as a breathtaking high-speed demonstration, you'll be encouraged to get behind the wheel yourself, to wind the speed up and try some high-speed turns and wave jumping. The boat operates within Southampton Water and, weather permitting, out onto the Solent.

Availability: Weekend dates from April to mid October. Book at least four weeks in advance. Please be aware that bookings are taken up to a maximum of three months ahead. Weather: Powerboating is a weather-dependent activity. It's essential that you call the venue for a weather check between 5pm and 7pm on the day before your experience to check weather conditions. Duration: An hour and a half including a safety briefing, one hour on the water, five minutes driving time and a debrief. Please arrive up to half an hour in advance of your booked time, the boat can't wait for latecomers. Numbers On Day: There will be up to four people plus the instructor on board. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the shore. Tell them to bring a camera and a pair of binoculars. Dress Code: Dress warmly and bring waterproofs and a change of clothes. Bear in mind that there is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat. Wear non-slip shoes (e.g. trainers or deck shoes). An old pair of sunglasses/ski goggles will be useful if it is windy. Guidelines: From M27, exit J3 onto M271 following signs to 'Waterfront'. With Ocean Village on your right, drive straight on, under bridge until you reach T junction with 'The Chapel Arms' ahead. Turn right, then right again at roundabout by St. Mary's Stadium (into Belvidere Road). Pick up signposts for Shamrock Quay and turn right into William Street. From M3, exit J14 onto A33, then follow directions as above. Please telephone if you have any problems. Restrictions: Minimum age is 12 but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Min height is 5'. Maximum weight is 17 stone. This experience isn't suitable for anyone with a serious back or heart complaint or for pregnant women. Other Info:
