The session will be tailored to your ability and aspirations. After climbing in the morning, spend the afternoon whizzing down the mountain, where you can learn the basics of abseiling, confident in the knowledge that you are attached to a safety rope. On arrival at the venue you will be met by your instructor, who will conduct a full safety briefing, before you travel to the rock face approximately 20 minutes away. It is then time to get kitted up with all the safety gear before you begin climbing. During your session you will cover the topics of knots & belaying, safety awareness, climbing technique, climbing etiquette and an introduction to climbing & bouldering. After a morning's climbing, you'll break for lunch; and then you can start abseiling and confidence tests. You will be fully supervised by an instructor throughout the day.
