Feel the thrill of the wind (and water) through your hair as you speed around the south coast in a Formula 4-Stroke championship Honda powerboat. After an in-depth health and safety briefing from qualified instructors, you'll have full control of these powerful boats and will be taught how to manoeuvre and control the vehicle as you navigate around a circuit along the shore line. The highlight of your lesson is 15 minutes of driving; but don't worry, boats have been fitted with instructor override to ensure that they are always under complete control.

Availability: Weekday dates only. Book at least four weeks in advance. Must be booked and taken before 30 June 2012.Weather: This is a weather dependent activity. It's essential that you call the venue for a weather check between 5pm and 7pm the evening before you go.Duration: This experience lasts for two hours including a safety briefing, one and a half hours on the water with 15 minutes driving time, and a debrief. Please arrive 30 minutes early to get ready, as the boat can't wait for latecomers.Numbers On Day: There will be up to four people on board.Spectators: Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the shore. Tell them to bring a camera and a pair of binoculars.Dress Code: Dress warmly and bring waterproofs and a change of clothes. Bear in mind that there is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat. Wear non-slip shoes (e.g. trainers or deck shoes). An old pair of sunglasses/ski goggles will be useful if it is windy.Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 12 but under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. Min height is 5'. Maximum weight is 17 stone.
