Discover the full capabilities of a powerful 4x4 Land Rover Discovery Series One, by taking it for a ride off the beaten track. During your session you'll drive extreme angles, tackle petrifying traverses and inclines and trawl your way through water crossings on this specially designed course. Your experience begins with a full safety briefing and introduction to off road driving techniques, before taking control of the Land Rover Discovery for a thrilling off road adventure. As this is a one-to-one session, you will not be sharing the driving time with any other participants (unless you want to as three guests are welcome to join you if you wish), allowing you to experience all aspects of this marvellous vehicle.

Availability: Runs Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year (the centre is closed Mondays).Weather: Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving dangerous (please call the venue if in any doubt). With a spirit of adventure at the core of its character, the great outdoors has always been the territory of the Land Rover brand. These iconic off-roaders weren't built to sit nose-to-tail in rush-hour traffic - you need to get them off the tarmac to find out what they're capable of. On this experience you'll tackle some challenging terrain in one of the following king of the road vehicles - a Land Rover Defender, a Discovery or a Range Rover Sport. You'll start with a thorough safety briefing (and tea and coffee is provided at most venues too) before your instructor shows you around your vehicle, explaining the impressive capabilities of these 4x4s. Then get behind the wheel yourself to conquer the muddy climbs, drops and hazards of an exhilarating off-road course, in stunning surroundings. Most venues have excellent facilities, including disabled access, catering, toilets, shelter and parking.
